Course description

The psychological distress first aid course is a training program designed to teach the basic skills needed to help people experiencing psychological distress. This training enables participants to recognize the signs of psychological distress, provide immediate support, and refer individuals to mental health professionals when necessary. Participants will also learn how to take care of their own emotional well-being while supporting others.

Offered 100% online. Also available in hybrid or in-person format upon request.
